Operators for this position are expected to provide safe, efficient, and on-time delivery of passengers by means of public transportation. They operate a para-transit vehicle to transport the elderly and disabled passengers to their appointments or destinations. Para-Transit Operators serve as “Ambassadors of Goodwill,” and ensure safety first, abide by all traffic laws, and provide the highest quality of customer service. Perform apprentice level repairs and maintenance on all GLTC vehicles and equipment. Reads and understands service procedure manuals. Uses a laptop to perform vehicle systems diagnosis and to perform scheduled maintenance services. Test drives vehicles to assure proper performance and completeness of repair.

Responsible for cleaning ALL GLTC vehicles and property of, or belonging to GLTC, also to provide general maintenance support to facilities, grounds and GLTC’s operation.

The Customer Service Representative provide front line customer service by offering public information; assisting customers via telephone, electronically and in person; and assisting staff in various capacities.

Oversee the proper maintenance and cleanliness of the facilities, grounds, and fleet.
Marketing & Community Relations Manager – (Download Description)
Clerk of the Board is responsible for marketing and public relations efforts/promotions of GLTC. This position serves as GLTC’s public liaison meeting with citizens, employers and organizations in the community to promote the use of public transportation.
