VA 10 Miler Detours

Due to the Virginia 10 Miler event, we will have the following detours on Saturday, 9/28/2019 :

Route 1A – Route will perform regular route to Lynchburg General Hospital, then detour via Page St. to Memorial Ave., service the Plaza and regular route to Transfer Station. *Area not served is McGurk House, Yorktown, Langehorne Rd., & Murrel Rd.

Route 3A – Regular route to Rivermont Ave., then detour using Rivermont to left on London St. to left on Bedford Ave., back on regular route. *Area not served is VES rd.

Route 3B – On detour, leave Transfer Station, turn right on Park Ave. to Lakeside Dr. to right on Old Forest Rd. to left to stay on Old Forest Rd., left on Link Rd. to right on Rivermont Ave. to left on VES Rd. (service Maple Ridge) return back to Rivermont Ave. to Boonsboro Shopping Center, then right at Link Rd. to Old Forest Rd. to Lakeside Dr. to Park Ave. to Transfer Station. * Area not served is Main St., Church St. (Covered by 3A) Clay St. & 8th St will be serviced by a Shuttle Van

Route 8 – On detour leave Transfer Station, turn right on Park Ave. to Lakeside Dr. to right on Old Forest Rd., right on Hill St. to service Birchwood, Hillcrest & Clearbrook Apartments, right on Hill St. to right on Old Forest Rd. *Area not served is Langhorne Rd.
