ADVISORY COMMITTEES

ADA COMMITTEE

The purpose of the AAC is to provide a communication link between the Greater Lynchburg Transit Company (GLTC) and its customers with disabilities, advise GLTC on best practices regarding services to customers with disabilities and compliance with the ADA. This committee will also serve as a mechanism for on-going planning and development of GLTC’s complimentary ADA paratransit services.

The ADA Advisory Council meets the second Wednesday of Every month at 1pm, at 800 Kemper Street at the GLTC Transfer Station.

CUSTOMER ADVISORY COMMITTEE

The GLTC Customer Advisory Committee (CAC) exists to provide a communication link between GLTC and its customers for the purpose of advisement regarding customer service practices and public transportation issues within GLTC’s service area. This committee will also serve as a mechanism for on-going planning and development of GLTC’s fixed-route services.

CAC meets the second Monday of January, March, May, July, September and November at 4:00 p.m. at 800 Kemper Street at the GLTC Transfer Station.
